We
are actively seeking an EIT or Junior Engineer in the Environmental
Engineering or Geotechnical
Engineering field who will be elegible for Professional registration with APEGBC. A background in, (or interested in being
trained in) the Industrial Hygene/Health and Safety field would be an asset.
Prospective employees would be expected to assist LEA in Type
1
and Type 2 ESA's, Asbestos Abatement, Mold Abatement, WCB training
(confined space entry, slip and fall, fall protection training, etc.).
Versitility and cross discipline (Environmental/Geotechnical)
work would be required.
We
are also interested in hiring Engineering Co-op students during their
work terms. Co-op students typically work in our Materials
Testing lab, including Field Testing and "Technician" type work
(depending on experience).
