Darron Clark, P.Eng.

Partner, Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Darron has extensive experience in soils investigation, materials testing, bearing and drainage assessments and Worksafe excavation assessments. Some of his focus areas include gravel pit exploration and analysis, landslide hazard assessments, asphalt and concrete mix design and testing (QA & QC), petrographic analysis, and retaining wall design. His clients have included various oilfield companies, forest product companies, municipalities and private contractors.

Darron earned a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1985, and after gaining suitable experience in the field, registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGGA (now APEGA). He spent eighteen years with JR Paine & Associates Ltd. in his home town of Grande Prairie where he worked on a wide variety of geotechnical projects.

Darron has been an active member of APEGBC since early 2006. He joined LEA and moved to Nanaimo in July, 2006.
