Steve is a Senior Technologist, and is responsible for technical support, project management, business development, and general management duties at LEA.

Steve was born and raised in Nanaimo and attended Vancouver Island University (VIU), then Malaspina University-College (MUC), for undergraduate studies in geoscience.

After graduating, he joined LEA in 2006 and continued his education with studies in Civil Engineering Technology through the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).  He became registered with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia in 2009 and is currently registered as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) and a Registered Technology Manager (RTMgr).  Steve recently completed studies through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is registered as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Steve is actively involved and a sitting board member with the Nanaimo Minor Baseball Association and coaches his sons.  In addition to baseball, Steve is an avid athlete and enjoys squash, men’s baseball, golf, and mountain biking.
