Worker Exposure Control & Monitoring

Where there is risk of workers being exposed to hazardous materials or physical conditions, an Exposure Control Plan (ECP) is required to be in place for the work site. Steps in the process include a detailed risk assessment, development of the ECP itself as well as Safe Work Procedures, and monitoring during work to ensure the hazard controls and procedures in place are effective.

LEA has extensive experience in implementing ECPs for Asbestos, Lead, mould, bacterial and viral hazards, silica, and heat & cold stress, noise, and many other hazards.

LEA can also provide assistance with WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) program implementation, training needs analysis, risk assessment and worker training.
